CALL FOR AN ECO-DESIGNER TO PARTICIPATE IN WORTH PARTNERSHIP PROJECT

The project idea

Within the framework of Worth Partnership Project, a Spanish Company is looking for a designer to collaborate together in the creation of a collection of eco-home garments. The idea is to develop fashion and comfortable garments made with natural biofibres (bamboo, PLA…) with a plus of comfort that will confer to the garments with their confection technologies. The garment will be knitted and the idea is to offer an eco image through the use of the colours and shapes.

The call

Worth Partnership Project is a project from the European Commission that aims to establish transnational collaborations between designers and companies with the aim of producing new and disruptive products for the fashion and lifestyle industry.

Worth will fund 150 projects in 4 years. The first call for proposals is open until the 31st December.

About the project: WorthPartnershipProject

The partnerships chosen will receive:
• 10.000€ funding
• A tailored coaching programme
• Participation in 2 international sectorial fairs to showcase their products
• Participation in 2 networking events to establish professional links
• IPR guidance

To participate in it the following criteria is needed:
*Designers, SMEs, start-ups and technology firms established in the EU-28 countries
*Active in the textile, footwear, leather, jewellery, furniture, fashion sectors
*Forming a transnational partnership (2 or 3 partners from 2 different countries)
*For SMEs being active at least 6 months prior the application. For self-employers, active when the project starts.

Applicants register individually and will gain access to the gallery where they can have the opportunity to contact with all the other potential partners to form a partnership.
