Three Cumulus members, University of Bologna, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and the Tecnológico de Monterrey, have joint forces to focus on how gender fits into different forms of cultural and knowledge production, application and communication, creation of markets for new products/services.

The Cumulus member Politecnico di Milano’s own POLIMI Design System community will launch, on June 23, 2021, the 2nd edition of the 24H Worldwide Design Conversations: a continuous 24-hour live broadcast dedicated to the culture of the project, oriented towards reflection on design practice changes.

DRS2022 invites new paper submissions in an open call or theme-track. We embrace research looking at and using design in the widest possible sense, with interdisciplinary work particularly encouraged.

With the aim of bringing together a range of arts and design-based activities, perspectives and approaches the University of Lapland hopes to contribute to the ongoing debates around the value of arts-based action and research in achieving sustainable change, social and economic marginalization experienced by youth and anticipating and confronting challenges which urgently require innovative ideas, methods and outcomes.
