Cumulus partner, Biodesign Challenge, has announced its winners for the 2021 competition during the BDC symposium on June June 21st – 25th, 2021.

We are especially proud to announce the results of the competition due to the fact that many of the winners are students from Cumulus member institutions, i.e. the winning project by Joseph Cardenas and Sarah Craven from College for Creative Studies, Detroit.

This issue welcomes papers on design and creative practices in the face of the Covid-19 challenge. This Call for Papers derives from the research program ACTING IN EMERGENCY. Rethinking design agency during (and after) COVID-19 (2021-2023).

Student competition – Deadline October 24

The Cumulus student group Cirro Cumulus has launched a competition with the goal of finding the best communication strategy to engage students within the Cumulus community. The idea is to find a way to gather the students of Cumulus and unleash the power of networking at a global level. The competition is open to all students from Cumulus member institutions. We invite you to join the challenge and spread the word!

This hybrid event is taking place on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, starting at 3 PM UTC.
Three Cumulus members, University of Bologna, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and the Tecnológico de Monterrey, have joint forces to focus on how gender fits into different forms of cultural and knowledge production, application and communication, creation of markets for new products/services.
