CfP: In this Place Cumulus Nottingham 2016
Cumulus conference hosted by Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham, UK
on April 27 – May 1, 2016
Submission of abstracts extened till October 30!
We invite contributions that acknowledge a systemic perspective on the topics and reflect outcomes from research, projects and experience.
The sub-themes are:
• Negotiating artefacts
• Innovation
• Future crafts
• Future space
• Sustainability
Call for abstracts
Deadline for abstracts extended: 30 October 2015
Submissions should be no longer than 200 words (in English)
Review panel
The review panel has two chairs: Prof. Venu Dhupa and Marjolijn Brussaard, Dean of the School of Art & Design Nottingham Trent University.
Each sub-theme review panel has a chairperson from
Nottingham Trent University:
Negotiating artefacts: Prof. Duncan Higgins, School of Art & Design
Innovation: Prof. Tony Kent, School of Art & Design
Future crafts: Prof. Tom Fisher, School of Art & Design
Future space: Ana Souto, School of Architecture, Design and the Built Environment
Sustainability: Prof. Venu Dhupa and Marjolijn Brussaard, School of Art & Design
External reviewers
Each sub-theme will also have one external reviewer for the abstract phase and two external reviewers for the full papers. External reviewers will be announced in due course.
Publication
Successful applicants who progress to phase two will have their full papers published as part of the In this Place conference publication.
